Dean will be missed; truly, our organization will not be the same without him. Dean possessed a rare commitment to his vocation and the people whom he served. Personally, I will miss his exhuberance and gift of conversation. Death has come as a “thief in the night” and we are robbed of tremendous individual.
God’s grace to you.

Dear Ann, Amanda and Kyle,
Words simply can’t express what is in our hearts. Please know that our prayers are with you.
Dean had a passion for Christ, life, music and especially his family. His smile and eyes would light up a room and he always had a joke or story to tell.
He shared his time and energies in so many ways touching many lives.
We shared many vacation and family times together, and though several years ago, the memories did not and will not fade.

He was a great person and I enjoyed working with him very much.

Gale Runberg says
Mrs. Vincent and family,
I was so shocked and so very saddened to hear of Dean’s death. I only found out moments ago. Dean was one of the first people I met at Grace Community – he was handing out programs with a big smile and a big “Welcome to Grace”. I eventually got friendly enough with Dean (and his comic crew of fellow ushers) to let Dean know that his usher’s i.d. was in terrible shape! So I made him 2 new “home-made” ones, and he actually wore them! (Under the old i.d., of course)
Very specifically because of Dean (and comic crew of ushers), my first few Sunday’s at Grace have led to a life long commitment to Christ. I never thanked him for helping make those first timid Sunday’s at GCC comfortable.
I missed Dean’s funeral, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to tell you all how he impacted my life, and eventually my husband and daughter’s lives.
Thank you to Dean, and God Bless your family, you will be in our family’s prayers.
Gale Runberg, Carmel

Ann, Amanda and Kyle,
I just heard about Dean’s death and the whole family is very saddened by your loss. I remember all the fun times our families shared decorating wagons and bikes for the 4th of July parade, swimming at the Westchester pool, swinging and sliding, birthday parties and sleep overs, just to name a few! I will always remember Dean as being a kid at heart, always laughing, smiling and looking to have a good time. You are all in our prayers through this difficult transition in your lives.
